Transparency (October 26, 2007)
This exercise required the use of colored rectangles to create the illusion of transparency. I took it to heart - I used no transparency effects in the software. Instead, each overlapping area is colored individually.
Originally the colors were much more saturated, but my husband took one look at it and said "Ouch." I softened it a bit. I'm reasonably happy with the design, given the limitation of using rectangles.
