Collage (March 9, 2008)
Our assignment was to choose a typeface, research the designer, and create a collage-type composition using type in different ways to suggest different textures. Our inspiration was supposed to be Piet Mondriaan, who I must say has done some pretty cool stuff.
I came to like this design better with time, although it was painfully difficult to get it all done properly! I learn more about Illustrator every time I go through something like this, though; so it's all helpful.
