Bad Parenting Vol. 23 - Screening Tests

In Which:

Liz reminisces about stress.

Music courtesy the Podsafe Music Network.

See the Sun - Black Lab

In my mad dash to be concise, I completely forgot the whole point of my rant: that screening tests don’t actually tell you anything, and that the only sure way to test for trisomy defects is via amniocentesis.  If I had to do it over, I’d probably skip both.

Bad Parenting Vol. 22 - Emily's Birth, Part 1

In Which:

Liz tells the beginning of a story, and figures out in part why she’s so single-minded about some things.

More static on this one, mostly in the last third.  I need to figure this out before I put somebody’s ears out.  Additionally, I’m a bit scatterbrained today, which I put down to the nerve-jangling physics-defying tantrum Em had just before I started recording.

I am not part of the medical profession in any capacity, so please don’t mistake me for someone who knows anything at all.  I am just an introspective mom who likes to talk about her kid.
